Favorite Colors You Wear & What They Say About Your Personality

According to psychologists, there is always a color that you give preference to because you feel more confident and comfortable in it.  It is also that color that reflects your character and personality. This was interesting and spot-on regarding my favorite color and how it described me.  Which is GREEN by the way.

Here’s what stylists and scientific experts also say about specific colors when worn and how it is perceived:

GREEN – evokes a feeling of peace and contentment.  It represents the color of nature.  Those who love to wear green are caring, kind, and have soft hearts.  It also brings on emotions of
safety and balance.

RED – is the color of passion and power.  You should wear this color if you are going to persuade or impress someone.  It represents excitement, energy, and movement.  Those who love to wear red are bright, passionate, and easily excitable.

ORANGE – represents fun and cheerfulness.  It gives off a party vibe atmosphere.  Those who wear orange are very expressive, enjoy being free and independent.  They are also adventurous and optimistic.

YELLOW – is the color of happiness, sun, and laughter.  It also increases concentration and attention.  Those who love to wear yellow are often spontaneous, adventurous, and creative.  (Maybe I should change up my wardrobe and put a little sunshine in my life).

BLUE – Psychologists recommend wearing blue to an interview because it sends out confidence, reliability, and a trustworthy aura.  No wonder many work suits and uniforms are of blue colors.  Those who love to wear blue are kind, sympathetic, courteous, and even shy.  They also possess calmness and poise.

PURPLE – represented royalty, luxury, and wealth in medieval times.  Today people who wear the color purple have a creative and insightful personality.  Experts also say that people who wear purple are emotional and sensitive.  They are dreamy and passionate beings who love mystery.

PINK – is a color of fascination, love, and encouragement.  Many industries use pink as their marketing color for feminine, beauty, and children’s products as it is a playful color.  But people who wear pink are known to be compassionate, energetic, and romantic.

WHITE – symbolizes innocence, purity, and freedom.  Most people wear white when starting something new in their life, a wedding dress, a new promotion, or a christening.  People who love to wear white are very neat and organized, they strive for perfection and love freedom.  Always optimistic.

BLACK – is indicative of wanting to be taken seriously.  It is a color that represents power, control, authority, and even mystery.  People who love to wear the color black are said to be ambitious, purposeful but also sensitive.  They tend to be very disciplined yet elegant.

GREY – is the color of balance.  It is a color that represents tranquility and maturity.  Scientists say since grey is very neutral, neither dark nor bright, it is very difficult to characterize a person who wears it. People who wear grey can be shy, do not like to attract attention, very conservative and practical.

BROWN – is the color of earth, strength, and stability.  People who wear brown are slightly conservative, respect their elders and possess a peaceful nature.  They are also intelligent and natural.
